Azleen Farahannis Evani

Azleen Farahannis Evani Binti Azlan holds an LLB (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2019. She has practised under the mentorship of distinguished legal figures including Dato’ Syed Azimal (Messrs Sharif Ridzuan & Co.) , Datin Freda Sabapathy Gonzales (Messrs Freda Sabapathy & Co.) Datuk Sivananthan (Messrs Sivananthan), and Mr Kumaresan (Messrs Thurairaj T. Kumar & Associates).

She has appeared before all levels of the Malaysian courts, with a strong focus on criminal defence—including cases under the DDA, Penal Code, ATIPSOM, and SOSMA.

She also serves as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Law & Enforcement at International Islamic College.
